PPG is committed to environmental sustainability education and have pledged to invest $5 million by 2030. This investment aligns with our 2030 sustainability targets and priorities, allowing us to support the next generation of innovators and make a positive impact in the communities where we operate.
Our goal is to educate young people worldwide about climate issues, environmental stewardship, and prepare them for future STEM careers. We believe that sustainability is an integral part of our mission to protect and beautify the world.

To achieve this, we will support educational programs focused on clean energy, climate change, energy efficiency, reforestation, recycling, reuse, and litter reduction. By partnering with organizations such as the National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF), the National Energy Education Development (NEED), and STEM Learning, we aim to provide hands-on environmental investigations, teacher workshops, professional development for educators, and engaging programs for high school students.

We firmly believe that STEM careers play a crucial role in developing innovative technologies and processes to address climate change and protect our environment. By investing in the education and development of future STEM leaders, we are preparing them for this important role.

Interested in Sustainable Paint Solutions?

Glidden Diamond One Coat PaintPPG is proud to offer sustainable paint products that not only meet the highest quality standards but also minimize their impact on the environment. We work with customers and suppliers throughout our value chain to find innovative ways to reduce packaging, increase resource efficiency, and improve environmental impacts.

One of our key focuses is on developing low-VOC (volatile organic compound) paints. VOCs are chemicals that can be released into the air during and after the painting process, contributing to air pollution and potential health risks. By formulating low-VOC paints, we aim to provide our customers with high-performance coatings that have minimal impact on indoor and outdoor air quality. By choosing our sustainable paint options, individuals and businesses can contribute to a greener future while enjoying the benefits of high-quality, durable, and aesthetically pleasing coatings.
